Conservation
The Cerveteri and Tarquinia Archaeological Park oversees monitoring of the underground chambers, exposed to damp and to the erosion of the tufa, and coordinates restoration work on painted and relief-decorated tombs.
Research and outreach
Excavation campaigns, from the early 20th century to today, continue to yield new data on Etruscan society. Sharing these findings, including through digital tools like this one, is part of the conservation mission.
